Education:
Nicole holds a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science from York University, where she was nominated for the Senior Honor Society during her senior year, an exclusive recognition awarded to the top 5% of the class. She then earned her Master's degree in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Holy Family University.

Nicole is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania. With her extensive experience and credentials, she has utilized her license to provide supervision and guidance to fellow counselors and interns, helping to shape the next generation of mental health professionals.
Experience
Nicole has been working in the field of substance use since 2012, gaining extensive experience in both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP). She joins Rosewood Recovery after spending the past eight years at a nonprofit organization, where she began as an outpatient counselor and has served as a program manager since 2021. In these roles, Nicole provided individual and group therapy, developing a broad skill set that includes assessment, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care. Additionally, Nicole facilitated DUI Intervention Education classes in an outpatient setting and led a workshop at the University of the Sciences for students who had experienced a substance use incident on campus. In this workshop, she helped students develop healthy coping skills and recognize signs of substance misuse and abuse.

As a drug and alcohol counselor, Nicole manages a caseload of clients with both substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health diagnoses. She provides individual, family, and group therapy to support her clients’ recovery journeys. Nicole utilizes a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor her approach to each client’s unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She has received specialized training and is dedicated to furthering her expertise, including ongoing education in the Gottman Method to enhance her therapeutic practice. Additionally, Nicole has completed specialized training in treating gambling disorders, further broadening her expertise in addiction counseling.
Hobbies
Nicole is passionate about learning and is endlessly curious about human behavior. She finds joy in exploring new topics and gaining deeper insights into how people think and act. Outside of her intellectual pursuits, she enjoys cooking, traveling, singing, comedy, and reading, all of which allow her to express her creativity and connect with others in meaningful ways.
